Best Mac cloud hosting in 2026

There is no single best Mac cloud host. The right one depends on where you are, how long you need the Mac, and whether you need a public IP or an SLA. For the lowest M4 price, My Remote Mac listed $85 a month in October 2026. For hourly billing, AWS and Scaleway lead. For an M6 that is in stock with Xcode and AI agents ready, MacRun is $139 a month. The table below shows all eleven.

How we compared

We read each provider's own pricing page and noted the cheapest whole Mac it listed, the cheapest M6 if any, and its terms. Most pages were read on October 1 or 2, 2026. MacStadium was re-read on October 2. We could not load MacinCloud's plan pages that week, so its prices are from September 24, 2026. Prices change often. Check the provider's page before you buy.

Best by need

  • Lowest M4 price: My Remote Mac at $85 a month. MacWeb, RentaMac and Roundfleet each list an M4 at $99.
  • Static IP and an SLA: My Remote Mac lists both, with a 99.9% SLA. Mac Mini Vault shows 99.9% uptime and one IPv4 per Mac. MacStadium says its redundancy delivers 99.99% uptime.
  • A few hours or days: AWS EC2 Mac and Scaleway bill by time after a 24 hour minimum. RentaMac sells daily and weekly plans.
  • Europe: Scaleway in Paris, Roundfleet in Toulouse, HostMyApple in Amsterdam, RentaMac in Cyprus.
  • Very large Macs: AWS lists an M3 Ultra with 256 GB. MacStadium and Mac Mini Vault rent Mac Studios.
  • Your own hardware: Mac Mini Vault colocates a Mac mini from $59.99 a month.
  • A cheap shared account: MacinCloud's managed M4 plans started around $39 a month in September 2026, with no admin rights.
  • A trial window: HostMyApple's FAQ offers a refund within the first 14 days.

What to check before you pick

  • Dedicated or shared. A whole Mac means no neighbors and usually admin rights. A shared or VPS plan costs less but may limit both.
  • Stock. Several hosts list M6 plans that are not orderable yet. Look for a working sign up button, not just a price.
  • Minimum term. It is a day at AWS, Scaleway and RentaMac. Most others bill by the month.
  • Refunds. HostMyApple offers 14 days. MacinCloud says all sales are final. MacStadium and MacRun offer no free trial.
  • Network. If others must reach the Mac, you need a public IP. A CI runner only needs outbound HTTPS to GitHub, per GitHub's docs.

MacStadium and MacinCloud in brief

MacStadium's pricing page, read October 2, 2026, listed the M2.S at $109 a month. The M4.S with 16 GB and 256 GB was $149. The M4.M was $249 and the M4.L was $349. It says subscriptions are monthly, prepaid on the first day of the month. It also says it does not offer free trials, since every Mac is dedicated.

MacinCloud, read September 24, 2026, sold managed shared M4 plans from $39 with no admin access. Its dedicated M1 started at $114.99, with M2 and M4 marked sold out. Its billing policy, re-read October 2, says all sales are final. Our MacinCloud vs MacStadium post goes deeper.

Where MacRun fits

MacRun rents a dedicated M6 Mac mini, never shared and never virtualized. It has a 12-core CPU, 16 GB and 256 GB. The runner plan is $139 a month and the first month is $69. It is ready 1 to 4 hours after payment, with Xcode 26.6, the iOS 26.5 simulator runtime and the GitHub Actions runner installed.

The agent plan is $169 a month, $84 for the first month. It adds Claude Code and Codex, a session that survives reboots, and the desktop in a browser tab. In our benchmark, a clean build of the Wikipedia iOS app took 86 seconds on the M6. A GitHub-hosted macos-26 runner took 183 seconds.

MacRun is not the right pick for everyone. We have no static IP, no SLA, no free trial and one location, in New Jersey. We do not rent Mac Studios or bill by the hour. If any of those matter, use the list above.
